Ultrafine Technologies, Inc. (UTI) is a technology driven, development stage, Delaware Corporation founded by Dr. Berhan Tecle in 1995. The Company has developed and patented a continuous, low-cost, high volume process for the production and encapsulation of nanoparticles of metals, non-metals, organic, and inorganic compounds. UTI’s breakthrough encompasses a scaleable production process and a technology platform, which overcome the seemingly insurmountable problem of handling, transporting and storing of nanoparticles. Until recently, handling problems in nano-scale particulate matter have been a chief obstacle to effective utilization and large volume production. Ultrafine’s innovative and patented technology has now created a complete technology platform for the successful utilization of nanoparticles for a variety of applications.

UTI’s management team has identified many industries that could benefit from its core technology. However, initial business development and marketing efforts is focused on carefully selected products for electronic, energy and military applications where key problems are well documented and a strong financial motivation exists.
