Supercritical Fluid Technologies, Inc. (SFT), a Delaware corporation, was established in July 1994. SFT is financed through private investors and from funding granted by the Delaware Innovation Fund. SFT manufactures instrumentation for supercritical fluid extraction and reaction. Numerous applications for the technology exist in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, and food industries. Supercritical fluids are a relatively new and exciting technology, which eliminates the need for large quantities of dangerous and undesirable organic chemicals used in laboratories and manufacturing. SFT's corporate mission is to help its customers obtain the greatest productivity possible from this uniquely efficient technology.
